Fair Use Policy

1. Purpose
This Fair Use Policy applies to certain resources included in Tenaivo subscription plans — specifically SMS messaging and file storage. The policy ensures that shared infrastructure remains fast and reliable for all users. Tenaivo includes generous limits designed to accommodate the vast majority of property management portfolios without additional charges.
2. SMS messaging
Both plans include the texts a maintenance desk normally sends to residents, vendors and your on-call person. SMS messages are counted per segment (160 characters for standard SMS, 153 characters for multi-part messages), and each account has a monthly text budget. If your account sends far more than expected for its size, we will contact you before taking any action. Bulk promotional SMS blasts unrelated to property management are not permitted under any plan.
3. Automated access
Tenaivo does not offer a public API today. Imports from Buildium and Rentvine run on our side, nightly and read-only. Automated scripts or scraping of the app are not permitted. If you need an integration, contact us.
4. File and document storage
Each plan includes a file storage allocation for maintenance photos, inspection reports, vendor invoices, and other property-related files. Storage is measured as the total size of all files uploaded to your account. Files should be relevant to your property management operations. We do not permit use of Tenaivo storage as a general-purpose file hosting or backup service. If your storage use goes far beyond what your portfolio needs, we will contact you to find a solution.
5. Enforcement and contact
We monitor usage patterns to identify accounts that may be impacting service quality for other users. If we determine that your usage violates this policy, we will contact you at your registered email address before taking any action. In most cases, we will work with you to find a solution.
